Coverdale Directions 

In the Yorkshire Dales take the Rippon to Layburn Road A6108 and at Middleham take the road to Carlton. You can use OL 30 SE 068847 

Starting Point 

Start from the village centre between village hall and pub and then walk unto bridge you will then see back of houses.

Distance and time

4 ½ miles-Yorkshire miles-they seem to be longer miles then any were else I could say 3 hours but it seems to go on for ever as you take your time and look around at this wonderful landscape.

Starting at Carlton going to West Scrafton to East Grafton, St Simon`s Chapel Melmbery and back to the pub for a well-earned pint.
